Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has created a new parent company, Associated Luxury Hotels, which will concentrate on the luxury-level and upper-upscale independent hotels and resorts, and independent hotel brands. The existing ALHI structure will remain concentrated on serving the MICE market and could expand into Europe from its North American base.
The company’s new services will help members’ competitive market strategies including, yet beyond, the current North American MICE market Global Sales Organissation (GSO) services, according to ALHI CEO and Associated Luxury Hotels’ chairman, David Gabri (pictured).
“We are launching Associated Luxury Hotels as the parent company of ALHI now, in preparation, so that we can share insights and offer a broader range of market services beyond the North American meetings and incentive marketplace, which will include transient business travel, leisure travel, loyalty solutions and distribution.
“This next step in the evolution from ALHI’s 30 years of dedicated group business is in response to the growing competitive needs of our distinguished member hotels and resorts, and persistent inquiries from other luxury-level independent hotels and resorts worldwide.
“Associated Luxury Hotels is gearing up to provide not only robust group market sales services in North America and Europe, but additionally significant full-service ‘soft-brand’ solutions on a global scope, with a focus on enabling our valued member hotels and resorts to enjoy their independent identity while also effectively competing within the environment of the world’s biggest hospitality chains.”
Associated Luxury Hotels owns and operates ALHI, and plans to soon announce an expansion of its ALHI GSO sales team into Europe, exciting additions to its global portfolio, and new services and offerings to expand its geographic reach and market penetration.
The announcement of the new parent company and strategic direction was made at ALHI’s annual Global Sales meeting for the ALHI Global Sales team, conducted at Georgia’s 3,500-acre Chateau Élan, an Atlanta area resort among ALHI’s portfolio.
