EUROPE – Construction work at the Amsterdam RAI Amtrium reached its highest point at 26 metres on 3 July, prompting the hoisting of the Amsterdam RAI flag and the traditional celebratory drink.
The multifunctional Amtrium is set to be completed in May 2015 and will feature new conference, meeting and office space.
Amsterdam RAI and its construction partners BAM Utiliteitsbouw Amsterdam and Kropman Installatietechniek hope the conference centre wiill be the first in the Netherlands to obtain the BREEAM-NL Excellent level.
