Australia-based creative technology company Art Processors has launched Pladia, offering cultural institutions a self-service product to enhance the visitor experience. Pladia is a software that allows institutions to build, manage and craft personalised experiences of their digital spaces. Art Processors operates as an all-inclusive subscription technology for cultural institutions, festivals, events and tourism.
Pladia contains two key products: Pladia Empower and Event Sync.
Pladia Empower: Designed to enhance the guest experience while providing useful visitor analytics and insights for venues, the app enables visitors to access integrated wayfinding and configurable content on their mobile devices. The app also offers analytics and feedback tools.
Event Sync: An innovative SaaS product designed to achieve symmetry between sight and sound through seamless AV synchronisation, delivering high-fidelity audio to visitors’ devices matched to the visuals on screen displays. Examples of how the tool can be used include: drone light shows, laser shows, projection mapping and firework displays.
The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) recently used the platform. Julia Prior, head of digital media at MCA, said: “The platform is robust, designed with accessibility in mind, and incredibly user-friendly”.
“Pladia is here to bridge the gap for organisations with limited budgets. It’s configurable, easy-to-use and reliable, and most importantly will help visitors find their way simply, from their device,” said Andi Mastrosavas, Pladia chief executive.
Launched on 18 September 2024 in the US and Australia, Pladia plans to scale globally.
