ASM Global to lead sponsorship partnership for Westgate Entertainment District

ASM Global, international venue management and services company, has announced that it has entered into a Billboard Lease and Sponsorship Sales Agreement with YAM Westgate, with respect to Westgate Entertainment District (The District) in Glendale, Arizona.

The District is a mixed-use urban development. Upon full build completion, it will include several million square metres of shopping, dining, entertainment, hotels, residential, parks and office space. The District attracts more than 6m visitors each year, in addition to hosting hundreds of concerts and events.

Chuck Steedman (pictured), executive vice-president of strategy and development at ASM Global, said: “This is an exciting partnership, and we are looking forward to exploring opportunities that will benefit guests, as well as local businesses and corporations. Clearly, The District has established itself as a destination for both sports fans and guests of the great mix of restaurants, bars and attractions. With mega events such as the NCCA Final Four and Super Bowl around the corner, Westgate Entertainment District will continue to draw even larger global audiences,” he added.

Director of real estate at YAM Properties, Dan Dahl, added: “ASM Global has the reach and relationships to draw corporate interest far outside of this region. The value their team will bring to this project, and therefore this community, is unmatched.”
