Australia’s largest independently owned Travel Management Company, Connections Travel Group (CTG) brought together over 180 team members for its milestone 25th anniversary conference, Ubuntu Infinite 2025, held at the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove on the Northern Gold Coast. CTG, which has over A$250m in annual travel spend, includes leading brands, CT Connections (corporate travel), Edge Connections (luxury leisure), and Totem Connections (MICE).
The conference included a high-energy Y2K-themed celebration and the debut of the inaugural Ubuntu Awards. (Ubuntu is an ancient African word meaning ‘humanity to others’.) The programme featured keynote sessions with motivational speakers Kirk Peterson and Robyn Moore AM, alongside supplier showcases and industry panelss.
Connections Travel Group says it is entering a new phase of growth expanding its impact, streamlining operations, and leading the way as Australia’s largest independently owned travel management company.
The conference also saw the official launch of CTG’s social impact enterprise, CORE Transitions which supports individuals with disability to find their voice and purpose so that they can thrive in their communities. This is achieved through targeted employment supports, upskilling in life skills and travel support to promote capability, confidence and agency.
