National official tourism development agency Visit Hungary has announced the Tourism Summit 2025 will be hosted, 14-15 October 2025, at the Bálna Budapest This theme of the two-day summit, ‘Travel Smart, Explore the Future!’, is intended to highlight how innovation, sustainability and digital transformation are shaping the next era of global tourism.
The summit will bring together international thought leaders, tourism professionals, policymakers, innovators and educators to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. Topics will include the integration of smart technologies, the importance of data-driven tourism strategies, the impact of AI and automation, and how destinations can remain competitive while promoting environmental responsibility.
With the active involvement of universities and young experts, the event will foster dialogue between emerging talent and seasoned leaders. This collaborative format aims to ensure that the tourism sector is future-proof, inclusive and adaptive to the evolving expectations of global travellers.
