The Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) has announced the launch of Airspace Asia Pacific, a new exhibition and conference dedicated to airspace and unmanned traffic management (UTM) in the Asia Pacific region. It is scheduled to run 9-11 December 2025 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, China. Irene Chan, CEO of AsiaWorld-Expo said: “Strategically situated at the heart of Asia and fully integrated with the Hong Kong International Airport, AsiaWorld-Expo offers unparalleled accessibility for aviation experts across continents. As a connecting hub of China’s fast-growing Greater Bay Area, renowned for its rapid regional growth and vibrancy in aviation development, we look forward to connecting thought-leaders and fostering innovation and collaboration in the industry around the world.” Simon Hocquard, director general of CANSO, said: “We are thrilled to launch Airspace Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. This event represents our commitment to fostering a stronger ATM and UTM community in the Asia Pacific region by leveraging digitalisation, virtualisation, and other cutting-edge technologies.” Victor Liu, director general of the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department, remarked: “Hong Kong is a major international aviation centre.
