ASIA – One of the debutant delegates at the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Convening Leaders Conference in Chicago, USA, 11-14 January 2015, is Japan’s Chiba Convention Bureau and International Center (CCB-IC).
During the conference, at which the PCMA expects 1,200 meeting organisers to attend, as well as 2,300 industry suppliers, the CCB-IC will be holding a ‘Chiba Seminar’ designed to introduce PCMA members to Chiba Prefecture and Japan as a convention destination.
January is Japan’s biggest holiday season, so the CCB-IC is bringing to Chicago some traditional Japanese games as an ice breaker in hopes of making the event both educational and enjoyable.
Going forward the CCB-IC is to step up its initiatives to make Chiba a more well-known destination for conventions and business events.
