The Conventa Crossover festival will take place, 28-29 August, in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana. It will be the eighth edition of this south-east European regional festival for professional event organisers and creative minds. In 2023, Cankarjev dom and Ljubljana Castle will be the venue hosts for this year’s event. Organisers say the central topic is encapsulated in the formula Exp = Evt2, meaning: ‘From boring events to immersive experiences’. Organisers expect over 130 attendees to attend the festival, where they will be able to learn, network and exchange ideas in an informal ambience. A quintessential part of the Conventa Crossover is the competition for the best regional events awards. Gorazd Čad, the co-founder of Conventa, said: “We organise Conventa Crossover because we are driven by our love for events and stories that world-class speakers share with us.
