AMERICAS – CzechTourism and the Prague Convention Bureau concluded their first joint MICE and Leisure Roadshow in Western USA with four networking culinary events and workshops.

The organisations presented Prague and the Czech Republic as ideal convention, incentive and tourist destinations.

From 7 to 14 July, a series of workshops were held for meeting, incentive and event planners, tour operators and travel agents in Los Angeles, Orange County, Scottsdale and San Francisco, and ASTA Arizona Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

Each culinary event was attended by 50 meeting planners and travel agents, who tasted Czech food during the hosted reception; experienced wine tasting led by a Czech sommelier from Vino z Czech; and met with suppliers from the Czech Republic – Dorado Tours, DZK Travel, Hilton Prague, Hotel Yasmin, La Bohéme DMC & Incoming Tour Operator and Parkhotel Praha.

Partners of the event included: Consulate General of the CzechRepublic in Los Angeles, Arizona Culinary Institute, Harvey Imports, Pilsner Urquell and Vino z Czech.
