AMERICAS – North American members of Prague Convention Bureau and CzechTourism in Los Angeles are organising their first joint MICE and Leisure Roadshow in western regions of the United States.

The two organisations said their main aim is to present Prague and the Czech Republic as ideal event, convention, incentive and tourist destinations.

“USA is consistently one of the main source markets for tourism in Czech Republic and Prague and the roadshow has the mission to bring more information about Czech Republic and introduce Czech suppliers to our local partners,” said a spokesman from CzechTourism.

The roadshow will include five workshops and networking culinary events for meeting, incentive and event planners, tour operators and travel agents in Los Angeles (7 July), Newport Beach (8 July), Scottsdale (10 July) and San Francisco (14 July).

During the events, meeting planners and travel agents will have opportunity to meet with suppliers from the Czech Republic during one-hour workshops (Dorado Tours, DZK Travel, Hilton Prague, Hotel Yasmin, La BohemeTravel, Parkhotel Praha), and attend hosted reception with wine tasting led by a sommelier from the Czech Republic.

The roadshow will run alongside the ASTA Arizona Conference on 11-12 July in Phoenix.

Partners of the event are: Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles, Arizona Culinary Institute, Harvey Imports, Pilsner Urquell and Vino z Czech.
