New York City invitees gathered at Brookfield Place for the launch of The Diplomat’s $100m transformation. Now known as The Diplomat Beach Resort, the event allowed guests to capture a glimpse of what is to come when the complete makeover is unveiled in mid-January 2017. Craft cocktail creations by celebrated bartender Willy Shine were available. Select guests included Margaret Zakarian, CEO of Brookfield Property Group; Brian Kingston, Diplomat Beach Resort general manager; Ed Walls, author and media social satirist.
