Durban hosting World Conference on Non-Destructive Testing

AFRICAS - ICC Durban is currently hosting the World Conference on Non-Destructive Testing (WCNDT), an event worth US$2.24m to the Durban economy.

AFRICAS – ICC Durban is currently hosting the World Conference on Non-Destructive Testing (WCNDT), an event worth US$2.24m to the Durban economy.
 
The event, taking place 16-20 April 2012, was won for Durban over bids from England and Australia.
 
ICC Durban’s Chief Executive Officer, Julie May Ellingson, said: “We are proud to have been chosen as the host city and venue for the 18th edition of WCNDT. The conference is being attended by 1,400 delegates from across the globe.”
 
Some 120 companies involved in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) field, either as equipment or service providers are exhibiting as part of the conference. The connected exhibition has taken 7,000sqm of space, about the area of a football field.
