Eduardo Chaillo wins Huggability Award 2012

AMERICAS – Ovation Global DMC has named Eduardo Chaillo as the winner of its 2012 Huggabilty Award.
 
The award was created in 2009 to recognise those individuals who make a real impact within the meetings industry and past winners have included MPI UK and Ireland’s President Samme Allen and CMW columnist Rob Davidson.
 
Chaillo was presented with a specially commissioned award by Ovation Vice Presidents Patrick Delaney and Padraic Gilligan at IMEX America in Las Vegas.
 
Executive Director of Meetings with the Mexico Tourism Board and one of the ‘25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry 2012 (Successful Meetings)‘, Chaillo was nominated for being ‘‘a deeply passionate meeting industry personality who knows the importance of relationships and is committed, dedicated and professional to the core‘‘.
 
Passing on her huggability crown to Chaillo, 2011 winner Samme Allen, Head of Sales and Business Events at the Barbican Centre London said: “What’s wonderful about this award is that it represents recognition from industry peers. My year with Ovation Cub Picasso has been simply incredible, one which I will never forget, I’ve no doubt Eduardo will relish his adventure and I wish him an equally fulfilling year.”
