BELGIUM – The European Federation of Associations of Professional Confererence Organisers (EFAPCO) kick-starts the New Year with its 2010 congress, 8-9 January at the brand new Brussels Palais des Congres venue ‘Square’.
“People who have a serious interest in helping to develop Europe as the world’s leading congress and events destination cannot afford to miss out on discovering what’s in store for us: tomorrow and even in 2020,” said EFAPCO president Nicolas Le Brun.
“Two days of intensive sessions and plenty of networking opportunities will help our delegates to stay ahead of the competition, help forge our future and become more sustainable”.
Congress joint chair with Nicolas Le Brun, Sam van der Kerckhof, adds: “Our delegates deserve to enjoy the same ‘buzz’ that their own clients’ delegates receive. Our speaker line-up includes the man in charge of sustainability at the COP15 and the head of sustainability for London’s 2012 Olympic Games.”
Keynote sessions and workshops have been devised “to lure everyone out of their comfort zones,” says Van der Kerckhof.
Registration is open to everyone with an interest in the congress and events industry, not just EFAPCO members.
“We look forward to making EFAPCO 2010 a truly memorable start to the next decade,” says Le Brun.
