EUROPE – The Benelux European Meetings Industry Fair (EMIF) has been sold by its owners Artexis to a rival Belgian event organiser, Conceptum SA.

EMIF was part of the Promo Factory portfolio, which is now to be integrated into Conceptum’s own ‘Business & Meeting Solutions’  national show.  This show has five zones of exhibitors: Promo Factory, Office Solutions, Meeting Solutions, Exhibitor Solutions and Catering Solutions.

It will take place at Brussels Expo, 21-22 March 2012.

Christelle Fiore, who previously worked for Artexis, will join the Conceptum team on 1 October.

With four subsidiaries in Ghent (Flanders Expo), Antwerp (Antwerp Expo) and Namur (Namur expo and the Namur Convention Center), Artexis manages also a network of four exhibition halls in Belgium.

EMIF had appointed Paul Kennedy as a strategic adviser on the show’s development in March 2011.
