The big co-located incentives travel, convention and corporate meetings events IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific, which co-locate at the end of September in Bangkok, are to feature a re-designed programme packed with engagement activities.
A successful roll-out during the China event in March of initiatives such as Brand Showcase Presentations, Exhibition Walkabouts and Meet-The-Corporates saw adoption by close to 20 brands for the upcoming shows in Thailand.
For the Brand Showcase Presentations,10 brands including Dubai Business Events, Japan by JTB, Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, Royal Orchid Holidays, Taiwan, Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Thai MICE Cities, will be sharing their latest developments at 20-minute sessions open to MICE, Association and Corporate buyers and media.
The Exhibition Walkabouts, meanwhile, will target association buyers and media, and feature destinations such as India Tourism, JNTO and TCEB making quick introductions and exchanges at their own pavilions and booths during one-hour guided sessions over two days. Meet-The-Corporates will be a speed-dating format for IT&CM Asia exhibitors to connect with attending CTW corporate travel/procurement professionals over two one-hour sessions.
Another new segment to the show this year is Say Hi to Everyone. Formatted as an interactive ice-breaker, TCEB will be presenting a ‘Corporate Exchange, Exclusively Thailand’ networking mirroring the new Meet-The-Corporates format and featuring up to 48 Thai suppliers, and attended solely by corporate buyers over two days. “Our partnership with IT&CMA in launching Corporate Exchange, Exclusively Thailand initiative is a perfect match with our new branding. We are excited to see the Thai suppliers and Corporate Travel Managers leverage on this new initiative and deepen their interaction in an exclusive setting,” said Mrs Nichapa Yoswee, Senior Vice-President – Business of Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau.
Meanwhile on the CTW Asia-Pacific front, sponsor CWT will be fronting a light-hearted interactive session for all delegates over coffee and tea in a corporate networking exclusive.
As strategic partner, TCEB will continue to host the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Dinner, pre-show city tours of Bangkok and post-show tours to Ayutthaya and Khao Lak.
Darren Ng, Managing Director of show organiser TTG Asia Media, said: “The encouraging space expansion of returning exhibitors attest to continued confidence that IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific delivers across all fronts, internationally and locally.”
IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific 2019 take place 24-26 September at the Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld.
