The European Hematology Association is releasing an Invitation to Tender for the appointment of a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) for its EHA Congress in 2027. The association said it expected interested parties to collaborate with EHA for at least three consecutive years (2027, 2028 and 2029).

An initial Request for Information will be released to seek interest from qualified PCOs on 26 September 26, 2025, followed by the official issuance of the Invitation to Tender to selected PCOs.

EHA promotes excellence in patient care, research, and education in haematology and its Board, comprising 15 members, is responsible for steering the association. Day-to-day activities are carried out by the EHA Executive Office based in The Hague, Netherlands.

The EHA Congress is held every year in June and includes a wide spectrum of participants from various haematology specialties and allied disciplines as well as pharmaceutical companies. The Congress attracts around 17,000 delegates, the majority being international participants.

It also incorporates an exhibition in a hybrid in-person/online format. The programme usually consists of about 13 parallel sessions with workshops and sponsored sessions. This is complemented by a social programme onsite.

The appointed PCO will manage the future three EHA Congresses, which include the EHA2027 Congress, taking place 10-13 June, 2027; the EHA2028 Congress, 8-11 June, 2028; and the EHA2029 Congress, taking place 14-17 June, 2029. The venues for the EHA2027 and EHA2028 Congress have already been secured by EHA.
