EUROPE – Global event management company AIM Group International’s Lisbon office says the 16th Biennial Meeting of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), held 12-14 September at the Lisbon Congress Centre, attracted 1,800 delegates, surpassing the previous record number of delegates in Rome in 2011.
The three-day conference consisted of three simultaneous sessions, which included science and research, technology and technique updates, clinical matters as well as educational innovations. A variety of sessions were open to delegates from symposia to interactive sessions, keynote speeches to hands on pre-congress courses and poster sessions.
This year ESE, together with AIM’s Lisbon office, launched a free congress smartphone app (ESE 2013), which they say had a major impact at the event for the development of continuing social media activities dedicated to both ESE members and endodontics specialists.
