Global association and event management company IMN Solutions has announced its acquisition of Conference Incorporated (CI), an association management company based in Reston, Virginia, USA. The integration of Conference Incorporated unites two industry leaders – Donna Tschiffely of Conference Incorporated and Barbara A. Myers, CAE, of IMN Solutions.
The union of the companies, they say, marks a natural progression of the existing collaborative relationship. Under Tschiffely’s leadership CI – which she founded five decades ago – has established herself as an industry pioneer, managing countless association events across the country.
Reflecting on the transition, Tschiffely shared: “After 50-plus years in the industry, it’s going to be hard to close this chapter. However, I am confident IMN is the perfect place for CI’s clients to call home and I’m very excited for this transition.”
The acquisition strengthens IMN Solutions’ position in the market, coming at a time of significant growth for the company. Since focusing on the launch and expansion of its service lines in 2020, IMN’s expanded association and event management service lines have experienced a 500% growth, the company says.
Myers commented: “Bringing CI’s portfolio of clients under our umbrella is a natural fit. IMN already has established relationships with several CI clients, handling much of their sourcing and contracting needs. The team at IMN and I can’t wait to expand our work, our team, and to engage with even more organisations.”
