Event tech company Crystal Interactive expands into Germany

Event tech specialist Crystal Interactive has opened its first office outside the UK, in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Crystal Interactive provide smart badges that can connect delegates at events by touching their devices. Their details are then shared to an easy-to-access app with the delegates name, email and other information.

Since acquiring IML Interactive in 2017 the company has continued to grow and Crystal says the new office in Germany will allow it to extend the services and support it offers to German and other European-based clients.

Crystal added Smart Wearables to its portfolio last year, a portfolio that already includes Event AppAudience Response App and Event Registration platform.

Crystal Managing Director, Chris Elmitt, commented: “We have been working extensively in Germany for many years and to have support on the ground will provide an even smoother experience for our clients. Germany is one of the world’s largest conference and events markets, and we view the DACH region as a vital strategic market that will give us the space to grow in the future.

“This represents an exciting step in how we can continue to develop our best-in-class technology offering, and provide unrivalled support for organisations looking to get the most out of audience engagement technology.”
