Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Doha – Old Town, in the expanding of the business district of Qatar’s capital. John Greenleaf, global head of DoubleTree by Hilton, said: “As one of the world’s key commercial capitals, Doha is a critical market for our growing footprint in the Middle East, and we are thrilled to bring the DoubleTree by Hilton brand to Qatar.” The hotel features 187 guestrooms and suites – all with panoramic city views, and flexible meetings and events facilities, including boardroom, ballroom and three meeting rooms. The hotel also offers business and fitness centres, a sauna, steam room and rooftop pool. The 24-hour business centre, within the hotel, has 4 1485 Sq. Ft. meeting rooms, as well as an on-site restaurant and standard in-room and lobby Wi-Fi. There is also a list of tools available for meetings, such as audio/visual equipment rental, a complimentary printing service, and video conferencing.
