WORLD – The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), the voice of the business travel industry, has launched the Global Travel Professional (GTP) Certification, the first certification for the business travel industry.
Offered through the GBTA Academy, the Certification will help business travel professionals gain recognition in the industry, advance their career and increase professional growth and development.
“Education makes all the difference in today’s economy and the travel professional industry is no exception,” said Michael W. McCormick, Executive Director and COO of GBTA. “The newly launched GTP Certification will become the standard for the industry. The GTP Certification is designed to raise industry standards, enhance work performance, and recognise individuals who demonstrate core competencies essential to the business travel management discipline.
