Gernot Ringling, managing director of Messe Düsseldorf Asia, described the partnership as a “complementary” alliance, leveraging Meidcal Fair Asia’s regional influence and GITEX’s global expertise. Key speakers will include Sutowo Wong, director of data analytics at the Ministry of Health Singapore and Dr. Ossama ElHassan, head of E-Health at the Dubai Health Authority. Attendees will explore AI diagnostics, telemedicine and the role of emerging technologies like blockchain and Web3 in transforming healthcare. Trixie LohMirmand, CEO of KAOUN International, highlighted the event’s potential impact, noting that GITEX DIGI_HEALTH 5.0 will rally the region’s healthcare community to “leverage deeptech” in the face of rapid digital industry changes.
