Global AV supplier Dorier acquires Swiss division to extend services

EUROPE – Global audiovisual provider, Dorier, has acquired Switzerland-based audiovisual, content and communications service, Kongresstechnik.ch. The move will give Dorier an increased expertise in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. 
 
Dorier has its headquarters in Geneva and an office in Montreux with international offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Bangkok, Shanghai, Casablanca, Marrakech and Tokyo.
 
The acquisition of Kongresstechnik.ch, based in Biel, now gives Swiss German, German and Austrian clients access to Dorier’s international expertise in the design and technical production of all events, congresses, conferences and meetings.
 
A team of experts will join Dorier, led by Lars Haensch, Director of Kongresstechnik.ch, working closely with Dorier’s VP of Production, Olivier Croset.
 
Croset says: “Dorier are also part of the MCI Group, which will open up opportunities for more international events across Switzerland, Germany and Austria.”
