National convention bureau, Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ), has announced that the Hamilton and Waikato region will host the organisation’s 40th CINZ annual conference and AGM in 2016.
The conference will take place, 12-14 October 2016 at Claudelands Conference and Exhibitions Centre. It will bring together 120 conference and incentive sector specialists.
Sue Sullivan, CINZ chief executive, said: “This is a vibrant and fast-growing srea of New Zealand, with a dynamic business and innovation environment that in may instances is unique to the region.”
The conference will include plenary sessions, off-site functions at venues including Claudelands Conference and Exhibition Centre, Novotel Tainui Hamilton, and Hobbiton Movie Set.
Hamilton and Waikato Tourism chief executive, Kiri Goulter, said: “We can’t underestimate the value of this conference. This business events sector is such a key one for the region and holding the 2016 conference in the region will enable us to demonstrate our ability.”
