Hospitality tech firm hivr.ai (based in Geneva) has launched “Mandy”, an AI-powered phone agent designed to handle meetings and group sales enquiries. Radisson Hotel Group has signed a commercial agreement to integrate the technology across its properties.
Using agentic AI, Mandy integrates with a hotel’s central reservation system (CRS) to manage inbound and outbound calls 24/7. Unlike traditional AI voice assistants, Mandy can capture and qualify leads, follow up with prospects and provide support in over 50 languages – an industry first for meetings technology.
Automating lead capture and enquiry follow-ups
Meetings and group sales generate an estimated $400bn in annual revenue, accounting for one-third of hotel room nights. However, inefficiencies in manual processes remain a challenge.
“When an event planner enquires about a meeting but forgets details like budget, pre-arrival logistics, or catering, Mandy calls them within seconds, qualifies their needs, and updates the hotel’s backend system,” said Felix Undeutsch, CEO and co-founder of hivr.ai. “This frees up hotel teams to focus on high-value customer interactions rather than admin.”

Expanding AI in meetings & group sales
Founded in 2020 by former Expedia Group alumni, hivr.ai has expanded its AI suite beyond voice automation. The company recently launched ‘Alex’, an AI email agent that extracts key details from incoming messages and updates a hotel’s CRS.
hivr.ai also offers channel management across major meeting platforms such as Cvent and a pricing and task automation engine. The company recently secured funding, including investment from Amadeus.
