The first-ever Accessible Events Show, launching on Thursday, 18 September at The Drum, Wembley in London has confirmed HSBC as its Headline Sponsor.

This partnership underlines the growing importance of accessibility in both digital and live event experiences and demonstrates how leading organisations are embedding inclusion at every level.

Created by Attendable, MyClearText, and Dr Shani Dhanda, this is the UK’s, and quite possibly the world’s, first event dedicated solely to accessibility in event planning bringing together event professionals, agencies, in-house teams, and suppliers for a full day of actionable insight, practical solutions, and real-world case studies.

The event aims to equip the industry with the tools and confidence to design events that are inclusive, engaging, and commercially stronger.

Mali Fernando MBE, group head of digital experience and accessibility at HSBC, said: “At HSBC, accessibility and inclusion are central to the way we design experiences for our customers and colleagues. This event provides a vital platform for collaboration, learning, and innovation and we’re proud to support an initiative that aligns with our commitment to creating environments that work for everyone.”

HSBC’s commitment to accessibility and inclusion spans its global digital ecosystem and physical experiences.

Through standards, testing with disabled users, and embedding inclusive design throughout its platforms, the bank demonstrates how accessibility can be integral rather than optional.

As Headline Sponsor, HSBC will bring this expertise to the Accessible Events Show, helping the industry understand how accessible events deliver better experiences for everyone, and better business outcomes.
