Novotel Hyderabad Airport hosted a celebration of women in hospitality on the occasion of International Women Day with a special keynote address by Rachna P Agashe, author of the Amazon bestseller Insane Hotelier and head of department at IHM Hyderabad. Novotel GM Sukhbir Singh invited Ms Rachna to discuss the current diversity crisis in the industry and offer insights for bridging the talent gap.
Ms Rachna shared her journey, reflecting on the significant role mentorship and allyship have played in her success. She emphasised the importance of resilience, leadership, and inclusivity in today’s evolving landscape.
“This sense of security and belonging is crucial in enabling women to grow and excel in their careers. As we move forward, it is essential to build a strong connection between industry and education to ensure that young women receive the right guidance and opportunities to thrive.”
The Novotel Hyderabad Airport also hosted an all-women wellness and medical check at the property, with 70 women taking up the opportunity for comprehensive health examinations with vital organ checks, cellular health analysis and expert consultations.
