The International Association of Professional Conference Organisers (IAPCO) EDGE Asia-Pacific Seminar, 11-14 October, will be four-days of virtual thought leadership and learning events for industry professionals. The seminar will cover topics such as the do’s and don’ts of hybrid conference management as well as practical tips to retaining and supporting staff. The seminar will hear from 11 experts, including Singapore-based Oscar Cerezales from the MCI Group, International Conference Services managing director for Asia Patricia Cheong and Jan Tonkin, managing director of the Conference Company. This is the third virtual IAPCO EDGE, following seminars for European and Latin American professionals earlier this year. Martin Boyle, chief executive officer of IAPCO, said: “We know there are still event cancellations or postponements happening across the entire region, but we are seeing green shoots of recovery starting to show.” Boyle added: “IAPCO EDGE APAC aims to directly address concepts like ‘Covid-19 fatigue’, recovery strategies and team motivation by inspiring attendees with new and innovative ideas to plan events – and importantly, to plan them with certainty – while also offering direct support from key industry leaders and other colleagues.” For a full list of speakers and programme outline, click here.
