IBTM World, taking place from 29 November – 1 December, launched yesterday in Barcelona. The event is expecting 2200 exhibitors and 10,000 attendees from across the globe during its three-day runtime. Day One saw a full agenda of content on its Knowledge Theatre – including the Net Zero Carbon Events update ‘The Countdown to Decarbonising your Events’ chaired by Kai Hattendorf, CEO of UFI; Helen Sheppard, sustainability director at RX Global; Eloisa Urrita, head of sustainability, meetings and events at American Express Global Business Travel; and Senthil Gopinath, CEO of ICCA. IBTM World kicks off in Barcelona
The show opened yesterday in Spain. IBTM World runs until 1 December with 2200 exhibitors and 10,000 attendees expected. Day One featured sustainability content including a Net Zero Carbon Events session. The Knowledge Theatre panel discussed decarbonising events.
