The 2020 edition of Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) officially opened on 17 February for a three-day show at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Knowledge Exchange on Day 1 connected delegates from all over the world for a day of education and community building. Speakers included Holly Ransom, CEO of Emergent, unpacking leadership skills for survival in a hyperconnected world, and Christopher Kai, CEO of The Mathem Group, exploring the power of human connections in business events. The 2020 show floor has 330 exhibitors from the Asia Pacific and beyond, and organisers expect 2,500 industry visitors. Hosted buyers and media attending AIME experienced a night of glamour at the Uncover Melbourne Gala last night at Melbourne’s newest venue – the Ian Potter Queens Hall, a unique heritage space.
