Inaugural Convene Baltic meetings show to open with 120 hosted buyers

EUROPE – The inaugural Baltic meetings and incentives tradeshow, Convene, is set to open its doors at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre (LITEXPO) in Vilnius, Lithuania for the first time next week (13-14 February).
 
Around 120 Hosted Buyers and 100 visitors from 20 countries will meet with 58 exhibitors from six countries in the Baltic region of Europe. Over 2,000 meetings between buyers and exhibitors have already been organised. Together, the show will include representatives from such countries as Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and United Kingdom.
 
Organiser Vilnius Convention Bureau says it has been inundated with applications for its Hosted Buyer Programme, and all indications are that attendance at the event “will smash through all targets”.
 
Meanwhile, international buyers have “snapped up” all the places on the familiarisation trips, to get personal experience of the area. In fact, the programme has seen so much interest that the organisers have had to add extra capacity to meet demand.
