Publisher of EW, Mash Media’s own, long-running trade show for the events industry, International Confex, provided the platform in London, 28-29 February, for a fast-returning events industry to showcase its innovation and services in full. Reflecting on the success of International Confex 2024, show director Jack Newey, said: “I am filled with immense pride and a sense of achievement. Our aim to connect, inspire, and empower the events industry has been fulfilled beyond our expectations. Showcasing over 230 exhibitors, enlightening talks across seven conference theatres, and welcoming over 5,000 visitors from around the globe, we have established an unmatched platform for the exchange of knowledge, innovation, and business opportunities. “The diversity and high level of attendees, from corporate event planners at leading companies to influential exhibition organisers and agencies, highlight the event’s pivotal role in fostering growth and collaboration within the events sector. This year, we have not only facilitated numerous connections, learning and inspiration, but, to an extent, established new standards of excellence for the industry.
