The Italian Exhibition Group has announced that the European Aquaculture Society will hold its upcoming conference at the Palacongressi in Rimini. The event is scheduled for 27-30 September 2022. The European Aquaculture Society promotes contacts between all those involved or interested in marine and freshwater aquaculture. It also facilitates the circulation of information relating to aquaculture; promotes the sponsorship of multi-disciplinary research, and enhances cooperation between governmental, scientific and commercial organizations in the field. Fabio De Santis, IEG Event & Conference Director (pictured) commented: “Over the three days of the congress we expect to welcome more than 1,500 professionals, farmers, researchers, consultants, students and industrialists from the world of aquaculture from all over Europe”. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) will be present at the event, with Alessandro Lovatelli, its head of fisheries and aquaculture, serving as chair of the conference.
