IRELAND – The Association of Irish Professional Conference Organisers (AIPCO) has added two new conference organising companies to its membership.
Keynote PCO and Event Plus are the latest members to join AIPCO which is expanding its membership beyond the previous strict criteria applied to full members, such as length of time in business and the number of conferences managed. It is hoped that this will allow the Associate Members to share knowledge more effectively with other AIPCO members, thereby enhancing the standard of service offering from Irish meeting planners across the board.
AIPCO’s Chairperson Nicola McGrance said: “We’ve been recognised internationally and by the Irish government as an important body in the meetings industry.
“With the addition of Keynote PCO and Event Plus that voice becomes amplified. We all believe that it is industries like ours and partnerships like this that will help grow the Irish economy and get us out of this recession.”
Founded in 1999, AIPCO serves as a body that gives a voice to and maintains the standards of Irish PCOs. It has six full members and two associate members.
