klik, a Montreal-based smart event management platform, has launched a new hybrid event solution that aims to create a safer physical environment event attendees. The solution builds on the company’s existing smart wearable tech through additional safety capabilities including contact tracing, touchless interactions, and crowd management features. klik also aims to create a collective experience for both in-person and virtual attendees by adapting its event management platform to allow planners to organise in-person, virtual and hybrid events. Charles Truong, president of klik, said: “Most of the features in our hybrid event solution already existed for live events. However, we adapted the platform to make it more engaging for remote audiences and to allow connections between in-person and virtual attendees. On top of adding live streaming, we developed networking video calls for one-on-one meetings or group discussions. We also improved our gamification to boost the engagement of virtual attendees”.
