Over 100 event professionals, Korean DMCs, hotels, airlines and media representatives joined the London office of the Korea Tourism Organisation and their appointed representatives, Moulden Marketing on 22 November, for a traditional end of year party – Korean style, at the Croc Bowling Alley in the Ham Yard Hotel, London.
The KTO team reminded guests of their latest initiative: Korea Unique Venues, as well as the range of local support offered to international organisers for all types of events.
The evening provided a festive backdrop for networking, some ten pin bowling and Noraebang (Korean for Karaoke), in the presence of Radio 1 podcasters Niki and Sammy who frequently cover KPop.
Marcus Hwang, Director of the London KTO office, welcomed guests and thanked them for helping Korea maintain its No.1 UIA status for meetings. He reminded guests also of the success of the recent hosting of the Winter Olympics, and listed a set of initiatives that, he said, had helped increase visitors to the destination over the last 12 months for all types of event.
