Dutch-based AV company, Kramer has launched VIA Connect 3, a wireless presentation and collaboration system for meeting rooms and classrooms.

The 9x9cm device supports iOS, Android, Chromebook, PC and Mac connections without dongles or additional software. It works with AirPlay, Miracast and browser-based connections, and streams 4K video.

The system connects wirelessly to in-room cameras and microphones, and includes a calendar widget for one-click access to scheduled sessions. It features 1024-bit encryption, 802.1x network authentication and dynamic room codes, backed by third-party security certification.

VIA Connect 3 offers dual wi-fi and LAN connectivity. The hardwired LAN option keeps internal networks separate from guest access.

Kramer’s VIA Site Management software allows IT teams to deploy, monitor and update devices remotely.

Theo Van Nierkerk, VIA product manager at Kramer, said: “VIA Connect 3 is all about collaboration with simplicity, speed, and security. With enterprise-grade encryption and cross-platform compatibility, it provides IT managers and users with the flexibility and confidence they need in today’s hybrid spaces.”

The device supports live streaming via RTMP/RTMPS to platforms including YouTube, Kaltura and Panopto.
