Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board has appointed Rachael Boraston as MICE Market Manager for Europe. Boraston will be dedicated to driving meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibition business to Los Angeles from Europe. She is based in London and reports to Vice President of Hotel Sales Bryan Churchill and Destination Sales Director for International MICE Sara Hoke. Boraston joins Los Angeles Tourism with a diverse range of experience in business development, event production, hospitality and sales. Previously, she served as Sales & Marketing Manager for Principal, Global Events and Principal, London DMC. Bryan Churchill, Vice President of Hotel Sales for Los Angeles Tourism, said: “Rachael brings a wealth of valuable experience to the Los Angeles Tourism sales team, boosting our strategic MICE efforts as we expand our reach beyond the UK to include all of Europe. We are excited to offer an expert in-market resource for all our existing and prospective clients.” Rachael Boraston added: “I am excited to engage with meeting professionals across Europe to showcase Los Angeles as a leading MICE destination while curating impactful itineraries that feature only-in-L.A. experiences and venues for their conference and incentive programmes.”
