Lenka Žlebková has been appointed as the CEO of the Prague Congress Centre (PCC), effective from the beginning of March. She will focus on development of the entire area, including public space around PCC and the planned construction of the New Exhibition Hall. Žlebková had been one of the main voices lobbying for this construction to happen in her previous position of the Sales and Marketing Director of PCC. “One of my priorities will be to change the corporate culture because I believe that the more satisfied employees are, the more satisfied clients we have,” Žlebková commented on taking up her new position. Žlebková played a key role in Prague winning the right to hold the 2017 ICCA Congress, which took place at PCC. PCC reported that Žlebková had been selected for the role out of more than 100 candidates. “She is a professional with many years of experience in the field and she has a strategic approach. In addition, as a Sales and Marketing Director, she managed to achieve excellent business results,” said Pavel Vyhnánek, Deputy of Mayor of Prague. According to him, the time has come for the Prague Congress Centre to contribute to changing the structure of foreign visitors coming to Prague. “If more people come to Prague for congresses, the city centre will focus on them, offering more sophisticated services than the beer tours,” he added. Lenka Žlebková replaces Pavel Habarta, a member of the Board of Directors who was temporarily assigned to manage the company since April last year. Management thanked him for his efforts and Habarta will be still involved in the PCC as member of the Board. Prague Congress Centre is the largest congress centre in the Czech Republic, offering 70 halls and lounges for events ranging from small conferences to large congresses. It also includes the Vyšehrad Business Centre and the four-star hotel Holiday Inn with its 254-room capacity of 254 rooms. PCC holds the Superbrands award 2019 and an EKO Gold Certificate for drawing energy from renewable sources. More at www.praguecc.com
