EUROPE – Jurgen Moors has been appointed as the new managing director of the Maastricht Convention Bureau.
The appointment follows the news that in the next three years the municipality of Maastricht will offer extra financial to help attract international conventions.
Together with Katja Zambib-Otten, Moors will be tasked with evolving the bureau’s business strategy.
Moors previously worked at Berlitz International in Brussels and the Chamber of Commerce. In the latter role he was responsible for strategically advising Limburg corporates who wanted to expand their businesses abroad.
