Maastricht Convention Bureau appoints Hans Lafeber as Sales Manager

EUROPE – The Maastricht Convention Bureau in The Netherlands has appointed Hans Lafeber as its new Sales Manager for Conventions.
 
Lafeber is replacing Sonja Opreij-Speth and has previous experience in the convention market at the Amstelveen congress centre, Accommodatie Buro (Kluwe) and Stichting Vakbekwaamheid Horeca.
 
“As a destination for conferences, Maastricht has a lot to offer,” says Lafeber. “Especially now, with the Maastricht Health Campus developments, there are many new opportunities for Maastricht as a destination for scientific meetings. I am really looking forward to making sure more scientific meetings and conventions will be held and even be developed here in Maastricht.”
