FYCMA (Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Malaga), part of the Malaga City Council, is in the throes of a peak international meetings season due to seven major events taking place between mid-April and the end of June 2024. The period sees 21,000 professionals from various sectors, including health, culture, sport, innovation and technology, meet in the city. The major events kicked off in mid-April with the AI Tech Summit, that was followed by the European Financial Planning Association Congress (EFPA) and considered one of the most important events for the financial advice industry. Then, in mid-May, the European convention of IAGTO – the international association of golf tour operators – took place, bringing together delegates and buyers from outbound golf tourism markets. That was followed by the 7th Ibero-American Environmental Health Congress, and the Padel World Summit, the world’s largest event for padel professionals, which concluded in Malaga, 21 May. The Digital Entreprise Show (DES) takes place 11-13 June, the largest European professional event on digital business transformation, and closing the international season is CM Malaga, Culture & Museums International Tech Forum – 17-18 June, which has established itself as the main meeting point for knowledge and business for professionals, companies, and institutions in the cultural industry. All the information on the venue’s calendar can be consulted on the website www.fycma.com and on social media profiles.
