Marriott adds 10th property in Moscow at Crocus City

EUROPE - Marriott International has announced plans to open the 250-room Moscow Marriott Hotel Crocus City in Russia under a management agreement with CJSC Crocus International.

EUROPE – Marriott International has announced plans to open the 250-room Moscow Marriott Hotel Crocus City in Russia under a management agreement with CJSC Crocus International. The hotel is expected to open in 2016 and will be the 10th property opened or signed in the Moscow area.

“We are expanding our footprint in Russia and look forward to having a Marriott Hotel in this emerging and popular destination outside of Moscow,” said Amy McPherson, President and Managing Director of Marriott International in Europe. “Russia continues to be a major focus and essential part of our growth plan as we continue to work towards doubling our European portfolio by 40,000 rooms. With everything Crocus City has to offer for business, leisure and groups, it is a perfect fit for a Marriott Hotels branded property.”

The Moscow Marriott Hotel Crocus City will be situated in a developing business district near to Russia’s biggest trade fair and exhibition venue, Crocus Expo. Crocus City is well connected with a private metro station and heliport. 

Overlooking the river, the hotel will offer free Wi-Fi and 1,550sqm of meeting space, featuring a 650sqm ballroom divisible by four, six flexible meeting rooms and two boardrooms.
