MCI organised over 6,000 event experiences, according to the global PCO and event management company’s MCI 2018 Digital Annual Report.
MCI said it had managed over 60 communities during the year and engaged 1.6m delegates, achieving gross revenues of €166m representing year-on-year growth of 8%.
The report noted that 85 of MCI’s projects were for clients in Fortune 500 companies.
The company increased its global footprint over the year with three new offices in Montreal, Lisbon and Florence and a brand expansion in Dubai.
The US market holds great potential, the report added, and Sebastien Tondeur, MCI Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are living in an exciting time of change, in which human and digital systems are coming together. We call this the phygital opportunity. We adapted our services to incorporate the latest marketing and digital solutions to our offering. At the dawn of the 4th Industrial Revolution, being a global leader means leading the path forward.”
The report follows MCI Group’s acquisition of Sentergroup, Inc., an association management company headquartered in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
