Global specialised events agency MGME has launched SourceCraft™, a proprietary venue sourcing methodology for meetings and events.
The company said the approach helps organisations make venue and destination decisions using market data, industry relationships and hotel expertise.
SourceCraft™ focuses on matching venues to client objectives rather than presenting multiple options. MGME said its sourcing teams assess destinations, venues, supplier relationships, attendee experience, budgets, market conditions and contract strategy before making recommendations.
The company said the methodology is supported by more than 40 years of combined hotel industry experience across hotel sales, operations, meetings and revenue management.
MaryBeth Reeves, director of sourcing and sustainability at MGME, said: “SourceCraft represents the philosophy that has guided our sourcing team for years. Our clients don’t need endless venue options, they need strategic recommendations backed by experience, market intelligence, and trusted advocacy. SourceCraft gives a name to the proven methodology our team brings to every sourcing engagement.”
MGME said its sourcing specialists also negotiate contracts, identify potential risks and opportunities, and support clients throughout the sourcing process.
Reeves added: “Our sourcing specialists become an extension of our clients’ teams. By combining the art of relationship-building with the science of market intelligence, we’re able to create sourcing strategies that support successful events while delivering measurable business value.”
MGME said SourceCraft™ will support venue sourcing for meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive programmes and corporate events.
