WORLD – Meeting and Incentive Forums (M&I), which organises 12,000 meetings per year across three continents, has announced growth of 26 per cent in 2011 over the previous year.

The company further forecasts 35 per cent growth for 2012, a trend it puts down to early bookings, which it says are up 50 per cent year on year.

M&I Forums has grown as a company by 350 per cent over the last five years and it is expanding its forums and moving into the Australian and UK markets for 2012.

Key events include M&I Forum China and North Asia at the Langham Place Hotel, Hong Kong and M&I Forum Europe Spring at Oslo Congress Centre in Norway.

M&I Forums’ MD Richard Barnes says: “We are thrilled, we have achieved this growth during such challenging market conditions and we feel this speaks volumes about the industry’s impression of the M&I Forums.

“The reason we have enjoyed such success is because our events provide an inspiring experience for the buyers and a great return on investment for the suppliers. We are excited about our plans for the future and we intend to facilitate more business opportunities than ever.”
