MPI announces emcees for live WEC Vegas in June

Meetings Professionals International (MPI) has announced the emcees who will host WEC Vegas, its upcoming event in June.

WEC Vegas is taking place as an in-person event with an online element. It is running from 15-17 June at Caesars Forum, the recently constructed new venue from the company behind Caesars Palace.

Christine Cashen and Tami Evans, who work together under the name EmceeSquared, will host the event. They have a combined 40 years of speaking experience at over 1,000 events.

Annette Gregg, senior VP of experience for MPI, commented: “EmceeSquared is the perfect duo to host WEC this year, as we celebrate our industry’s reopening and Make our Future.

“They have perfect balance of comedy and personal knowledge of our industry that will help them uniquely connect with our audience. We are excited to see the fun, creative, and collaborative engagement they will bring to our event.”

Cashen and Evans commented: “Like everyone in the events industry, we have experienced a huge shift in the way we keynote and emcee events. One thing remains the same whether it is in-person or online, however: attendees NEED to learn, laugh, and connect!

“We will be providing ways for everyone participating in WEC, both in Vegas and virtually, to do all of those things with their fellow meeting professionals!”
