The MPI UK & Ireland chapter has won an award for its role in education. On 20 June, the 2025 Global RISE Award for Innovation in Educational Programming was given to the UK & Ireland chapter at MPI’s World Education Congress (WEC25) in St Louis, Missouri.
The award was for the chapter’s “MPI Impacts” event. The programme featured immersive learning experiences including leadership workshops in art galleries and mindfulness sessions at a Viking settlement.
The event delivered exceptional results with a 96% satisfaction rate and exceeded attendance goals. Participants called it “a game-changer for educational events”.
Olivia Breene, president-elect of MPI UK & Ireland, accepted the award on behalf of the chapter. The leadership team includes Brian Hand, Cathy Joyce, Sheila Evans and Ciara Feely.
“To receive this global recognition from MPI is an incredible honour,” said Breene. “Insights Dublin and the Dublin Dialogues were a true collaboration of creativity, learning and leadership. We are proud to showcase the innovation coming from our region and share this moment with our community.”
